I have to disagree with this. If they didn’t have the opportunity to debut in Japan, the band wouldn’t have realised that their friendship was more important than their career as idols. Even though this idea might seem like out of the blue, it was logical and indeed it was able to bond the boys together. The purpose of being in a band is not because of achieving anything in the industry, rather they make music together because they like to be together.
